Leafi Announces the Launch of Its Inaugural Smart Home Product

Burnaby, British Columbia – December 18, 2023 –Leafi Home announces the official launch of its smart blinds control, Nova by Leafi, that will debut at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, January 9-12, 2024 (booth #61238) .

Nova by Leafi gives homeowners an easy-to-install and affordable device to motorize existing blinds with smart home technology. Retrofit smart blinds controls represent an underserved market with only a smattering of offerings that are either clunky, require tools/screws or tape, or are controlled via Bluetooth®. “We experienced firsthand the gap in the market,” said Will Wang, Leafi CEO and Founder, “When we went looking for a sleek, retrofit device to remotely control the blinds of our then newborn’s nursery, we found none.”

Nova is the latest much-needed device to round out a smart home ecosystem. It is fully programmable and controlled via an app or by voice control with Amazon Alexa or Google Home.

Leafi’s team boasts almost 40 years of combined experience in hardware and software development encompassing full stack software, firmware, electronics, and mechanical engineering. “The team has designed everything from form, functionality to UX with a singular focus on the end-user,” Will Wang shared, “And, we’re thrilled to be able launch our product on the preeminent stage for technology, CES.” Nova by Leafi is available for sale ($180) and ships in spring 2024.
